Version 1.10 of jocDBInsight is just released. Besides a lot of bug fixes and small enhancements the following improvements are available:
General
• Lots of minor bug fixes
• Reopen History files now encrypted, your connection information is not easily readable anymore
Diagram
• Faster layout
• Sort error on recursive database structures resolved, layout on such structures is now stable
User Interface
• Comprehensive text search in Source Code Detail View now possible
• The Reopen Database menu contents is now formatted for better readability (the old connection string view can still be accessed by holding down the shift key when opening the menu)
• It is now possibile to clear the Reopen menu contents
• Data view rendering is now more crash safe
• Added copy support for data values in Data Detail View
• Connection String passwords are now always masked
Database
General
• Extensive support for INFORMATION_SCHEMA in addition to ADO functions which should result in improved access to databases not dedicatedly supported by jocDBInsight
• Better detection of real database name
MS SQL Server
• Filtering of system items (schemas, views, etc.) improved
• Parsing of TSQL function calls improved
MySQL
• Complete support for MySQL including view parser for detecting dependencies and generation of ColumnCorrelations
• Worked around bug in MySQL that sometimes causes errors on view queries with full view name and/or column definition
MS Access
• Fixed bug in MSAccess query source code rendering of aliases
